Dr David Macdonald
BM (Southampton 1981), MRCGP, DCH, DRCOG, Mclin.Sci, FPCert.
Dr Macdonald joined Albrighton Medical Practice in 1985. He has
worked for Wolverhampton Hospital Trust as a Hospital Practitioner
in diabetes since 1986. He has recently completed a post graduate
degree at Warwick University in diabetes. He has shared
responsibility for postgraduate training within the practice since
1986. |

Dr Matthew Perry
MBChB (Birmingham 1982), MRCGP, MFSEM, DRCOG, FPCert, MSc.
MSc Primary Care Management and Chronic Pulmonary Disease, Warwick
1997.
MSc Sports and Exercise Medicine, Bath 2006.
Dr Perry is first team doctor at Wolverhampton Wanderers Football
Club, he has also worked with the England Under-19 squad. He runs a
shared care substance misuse clinic. |

Dr Jacqueline Orledge
MBBS (St. Mary's 1977), MRCS LRCP, MRCGP, DPD (distinction), DRCOG,
FPCert.
Dr Orledge joined Albrighton Medical Practice in 1987 after
spending 4 years as a GP in Ealing and Hounslow. She has a special
interest in Dermatology and works in the Dermatology department
of the Princess Royal
Hospital, Telford. She also runs a regular cryotherapy clinic at
Albrighton Medical Practice. |

Dr Jeremy Bradley
MBChB (Birmingham 1988), MRCGP, DRCOG, FPCert, Diploma in Sports
Medicine, Bath 2007.
Dr Bradley is the team doctor to Wolverhampton Wanderers Academy
football team. He shares responsibility for postgraduate training
within the practice. Dr. Bradley joined the practice in 1995. |

Dr Tamara Sharma-Dekker
ARTSEXAMEN (Amsterdam 1998), DRCOG, DiplomaFP.
Dr Dekker trained at the Vrije University, Amsterdam before pursuing
her GP training in Shropshire. She has special interests in
Gynaecology and family planning. Dr. Sharma-Dekker joined the
practice in 2001. |

The Practice Nurses are available by appointment
Monday to Friday between 8.30 am to 12.00 am and 2.30 pm to 6.00 pm
(outside these times emergencies will be seen).
They are available for a wide range of nursing tasks (blood tests,
dressings, removal of stitches, ear syringing, travel vaccinations,
health education, immunisations, smoking cessation and smears).
The Practice Nurses are also responsible for monitoring the health
of patients with various chronic diseases including Asthma, Chronic
Airways Disease, Thyroid disease, High Blood Pressure, Stroke and
Coronary Artery Disease.

The administrative
team

The Practice Manager, Mr Paul Aston, is
responsible for the day to day management of the practice, and for
providing business support to the practice.
The Practice Medical Secretaries are available to help with any
queries regarding referrals by your GP to hospitals etc. You can
contact the Surgery Secretaries through the surgery phone
number.
The Reception Staff are available throughout the day to make
appointments and deal with any general inquiries.
The Dispensary is available to patients who live in the dispensing
area (generally 3 miles from the surgery) and temporary residents.
The Administration Staff carry out all the day to day clerical and
administrative activities vital to the effective running of the
practice.
Phlebotomists take blood Monday to Friday 08.30 to 12.00 noon, via
appointment
Our
Health Care Assistant performs a number of roles at the surgery,
including new patient medicals, assisting in minor surgery, blood
pressure checks, and phlebotomy.

Health Visitors
The Health Visitors provide services for children under the age of
5, including running baby clinic, breast and bottle feeding support,
parenting groups, etc. They are available on 01746 711945.
If you are a parent and struggling to cope then please contact them
for help and support. The Health Visitors are happy to be contacted
if you have concerns about a child.
District Nurses
We work closely with the local team of district
nurses who are available directly on 01952 461569 and through
referral from the practice
