Alternative to Attending Accident & Emergency

Did you know...??

Not all patients may be aware the Practice offers a minor injury service to patients, as an alternative to attending A & E. The Practice is keen to avoid unnecessary and time consuming attendances to our local Accident and Emergency Departments.

The GP’s and nurses are able to assess and possibly treat minor injuries when the surgery is open. Minor injuries include simple lacerations, sprains, grazes and foreign bodies.

Patients are asked to contact reception in the first instance who will then direct and advise the patient accordingly.
